Blur Video ("the App") is developed and operated by Vidjar ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions: contact@vidjar.net.
Everything the App does to your media happens locally on your iPhone or iPad: importing a clip, detecting faces, number plates and text, tracking a subject, applying blur, pixelation, mosaic, emoji or censor-bar effects, trimming, adding music or captions, and exporting. We never upload, store, view, or transmit your videos, photos, audio, or the results. Exported files are saved where you choose (Photos, Files, or another app) and remain under your control.
The App asks for access to your Photo Library only so you can pick clips and save exports. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchase information. If you buy a Pro subscription or a one-time unlock, Apple processes the payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase (product, date, status) through our subscription-management provider so the App can unlock features and restore purchases on your other devices. We never see your card details. The provider receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase receipt.
Crash and diagnostic reports. If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics, Apple may share anonymised crash logs with us. We do not run our own analytics or advertising SDKs inside the App.
Support email. If you email us, we keep the message and your email address to reply and to improve the App.
We share only the data described in Section 3 with the following categories of providers, each acting on our instructions:
None of these providers receives your videos or photos. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. The App does not track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Because your media stays on your device, there is nothing for us to retain. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to honour your subscription and for accounting. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Because the App keeps your content local, the main safeguard is your device's own protection. For the limited data we do process, we use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced in the App.
